I just wanted to say a very big thank you to Becky and Steve Rounds of Rittermark Kennels in beautiful Oklahoma........ . They, including their dogs, treated me like family. Steve was most helpful in getting Erika to play well with others, heck, he was more then helpful, he “cured” her. A real Caesar Milan moment there. Except Steve, and I'm not exaggerating, knows a hellofalot more than C.M. about dog training and working dogs. He was most helpful in his advice to me about training dogs and handlers. I was very fortunate to watch him run his training sessions and if I ever manage to put a club together, I want mine to be run like like his. I really liked the way he stressed the importance and trained to proper socialization of working dogs. His own dogs, “Brago” Aus Der Rittermark and “Ivo” von den Grauen vom Monstab are the finest examples of what a working line German Shepherd is supposed to be. When in the home they are calm and affectionate, when in the yard, playful, when called to engage an aggressor, they are Demon Spawns of Satan. His girls are of the same calibre as well. I can not thank Becky and Steve enough for the care of my dog, the training advice I received and the hospitality they showed a stranger from across the country.

Danika is an extraordinary GS. She plays hard and works even harder. She loves to please and everything comes so naturally to her. Whatever we are working on she picks it up and then looks at us like "What is so hard about this? Come on people get with the program, we are working here!" Her off switch is instant, she can go directly from bite training to loving on our 5 yr old. Steve & Becky are amazing!!! Thank you guys for blessing us with our Dani Girl!!!!

allowing me to join the Rittermark family. Chief is my best friend and constant companion.
Chief's willingness to please, whether I am asking him to do obedience training or bite work is off the chart. He is always happy to work. Steve's training methods and willingness to take
me under his wing and train me has not only helped make Chief the best GSD that I have ever
had but has made me feel like family and has made me a much more responsible dog owner.

When I decided to purchase a German Shepherd puppy, my first concern was that I get a dog from a breeder that cared about the puppies they sold. I didn’t have to look any further than Rittermark Kennels. I remember being so nervous when Steve & Becky came to our home to interview us!
My son and I couldn’t either one love our Czoe any more than we do. She is perfect in every way! .... I had no idea how to raise a German Shepherd, but I have had no problems at all with Czoe’s training. I wouldn’t have such a wonderful happy home without all of Steve’s help. Steve greatly cares about each puppy that he breeds and definitely knows how to breed personalities. Everywhere we go, everyone tells us she is one of the prettiest German Shepherds they have seen.
As every day passes, it is clear that I got exactly what I was looking for and what I paid for. .............What an awesome girl we have!
I am very happy with my decision to get Czoe from Rittermark Kennels.
She is such a big part of our family and I look forward to possibly adding another Rittermark puppy someday. Thanks Steve & Becky for giving us one of the biggest joys in our life!

Dash is doing great! He is really starting to get more of that aggressiveness in him and barking more when he hears or sees something out of the ordinary. ....... Also, He has been very good with our nieces and nephews when they come over. I can tell you right now that I could not have asked for a better dog. I tried to get some pictures of him this weekend in front of the wood stove, but when I would drag my camera out he would run over and sit right right beside me. I guess he didn't want his picture taken by himself. I am really amazed at how well behaved he is..... He listens to us very well.....

Lila, an 11 1/2 month old female from Brago and Dareya's first litter, has become a wonderful companion and family member in a short amount of time. Her strong desire to please combined with her high intellect has made training a breeze. I would highly recommend a Rittermark German Shepherd to anyone looking for a companion full of love, energy, and courage.
